Annually SCWA organises two major climbing events:

• Western Australia Boulder State Titles

• Western Australia Lead State Titles

These are the qualifying events for athletes seeking to compete at a national level.

WA BOULDER STATE TITLES

A two-day event, typically held midwinter every year and is the most important event in WA for competitors who are seeking to compete at National or World Bouldering events.

WA LEAD STATE TITLES

This two-day event is for competitors who wish to qualify to compete in Sport Climbing at a national or World Cup level, it is typically held late summer.

WA Speed Titles

Unfortunately, we can’t run a speed competition in WA yet due to a lack of IFSC regulation compliant facilities. Hopefully, as the popularity of competition climbing continues to grow, we will be able to add these events to our schedule in the future!
